Construction
Case study
A large London construction company with a high profile project to re build the Savoy Hotel frontage required specialist long reach excavators to manage the job while managing central London pedestrian traffic. These machines were taken on lease hire through ECF giving a fixed cost per month for the duration of the contract.
A market that ECF funds typically through manufacturer relationships and Joint Ventures. Excavators, dump trucks, cranes, chippers and forklift trucks are common assets funded in this sector, usually in multiple machine fleet deals. Usually large transactions in value terms and more often than not funded on Operating Lease with a maintenance contract and residual value buyback from the supplier or manufacturer. The customer pays rentals for the use of the machine over a fixed period of time which usually matches the duration of an important contract or build project. Most repayment terms are monthly and reflect the depreciating value of the asset and a maintenance or service package.
